Some places serve breakfast. This place serves a reason to come back. The pancakes were absolutely incredible — fluffy, fresh, and very good. The Greek yogurt was just as impressive: creamy, delicious, and the perfect addition to the breakfast. And the warm drinks? Exactly what you want them to be — comforting, well made, and perfect alongside the food. But what really made this place special was the staff. Exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Not the forced “customer service” kind of friendly, but the kind that makes you feel like they’re actually happy to have you there. Amazing food, wonderful drinks, and people who turn a simple breakfast into a genuinely memorable experience. ~ Jesse K

Ein ganz wunderbares Restaurant in Malmö! Die Eigentümer sind unglaublich nett und herzlich – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wohl und wirklich willkommen. Das internationale Essen ist hervorragend, frisch, abwechslungsreich und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Und die Kuchen sind einfach unglaublich – unbedingt probieren! 😍🍰 Ein Ort mit viel Herzlichkeit, tollem Essen und einer ganz besonderen Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! ~ G.M. D

Das Strandcafe war der erste Ort, den wir bei unserem Urlaub in Malmö aufgesucht haben. Wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt und dazu auch noch sehr gut gegessen! Die beiden Besitzer sind total lieb und geben sich beim Kochen und Anrichten wirklich Mühe. Das Eis schmeckt ebenfalls sehr gut. Also volle Empfehlung! ~ Carmen H

Ein Kleinod direkt am Meer! Entspannte Urlaubsatmosphäre, sehr leckeres, selbst gemachtes Frühstück und Lunch inkl. veganer Optionen (einfach mal fragen, da ist mehr möglich, als die Karte anzeigt). Die Inhaber sind super freundlich, man fühlt sich schon beim ersten Besuch wie zuhause. Und der Bus hält auch direkt. ~ Torsten S

Wir kamen vorbei, um etwas zum Frühstück zu finden und wurden sehr positiv überrascht. Der Service war unfassbar freundlich, das Essen sehr lecker und auch die Getränke ließen keine Wünsche offen. Mitt favorithak i Västra hamnen! Bra läge med eftermiddagssol bara ett stenkast från djuphavsbadet (Scaniabadet). God öl från Hyllie Bryggeri. Enklare men god mat. Relativt spartansk inredning och komfort. Strandcafé är vad du kan förvänta av ett strandcafé med lite plus i kanten, men det är trots allt bara ett bra standcafé. Det som verkligen gör det till mitt favorithak i Västra hamnen är de underbara Thomas och Rainer som driver stället! ~ Fredrik A

Zatrzymaliśmy się na herbatę napoje i ciasto. Torcik migdałowy - pyszny, czekoladowa Kula z kokosem też. Bardzo przyjemna domowa lemoniada z kwiatów czarnego bzu. Herbata też w porządku. Bardzo sympatyczna obsługa. Ciasta przyrządzają sami jak również wszystko co podają w lokalu. ~ Anna R

Das Essen ist super lecker. Wir hatten Lasagne, Köttbullar und Lachs. Alles Klasse, und allein die Salatbeilage ist es wert, hier zu essen. Und extrem freundlicher Service!!! Zum Nachtisch Tiramisu, das war exzellent. Und wirklich guter Cappuccino! Definitiv eine Empfehlung!!! ~ Johannes T

Ein wirklich shnukliges Café. Die Service ist super höflich und zuvorkommend. Auch exzrawünsche wahren möglich. Das Essen ist wirklich lecker und das Angebot reichlich. Egal ob Englisch, Schwedisch oder Deutsch gesprochen wird hier alles. ~ Prophet 1

Heerlijk gegeten! Zeer lekkere en uitgebreide salade, quesadillas met kip. Daarna nog heerlijke koffie, chai latte en verrukkelijke taart!!!! En wat een heerlijk gezellige en ongedwongen sfeer! Echt een top middag 😀 ~ Babet B

Åt en Caesar sallad här, stor portion, ett litet minus att det var skivad kyckling ur säck, från grossister, men maten smakade bra. Atmosfären är underbar tills bussen stannar precis framför. Annars kan jag rekommendera stället. 👌 ~ Kicki S

Västra hamnens bästa café med fantastiska ägare, alltid härlig energi :) Rekommenderar rävarna deras köttgryta till lunch med hemmagjort potatismos, gott kaffe och otroligt goda egengjorda tårtor och kakor :) ~ Elitcenter M

Bor i samma byggnad sen många år. Unika och varma typer som driver stället. Rainer & Thomas. Enkelt men bra utbud på öl, vin och även starkt. Varierad och prisvärd meny. Alltid öppna famnen. Precis nere vid havet. Rekommenderar! ~ Palle T

Supertrevligt ställe med urtrevlig personal. Vill man höja sitt humör och äta gott är det hit man ska gå. Bra utbud på luncher, alltid vegetariska/veganska alternativ och underbara bakverk. ~ Anna G

I have lived around the area for 4 years and this was the first I have ever been here. It located in the corner of Scaniabadet right in front of the bus stop. If you cross the street you will be at the beach. This cafe has been open for 17 seasons now ( I know this because I spoke to one of the owners) They are the ones who are running the cafe. They are there 7 months out of the year and they are your chefs waiters etc. I didn’t catch his name but he was very friendly and easygoing. I love asking questions about the places I eat and visit and he was so nice and answered them all. They close for the season on the 14th of October. They have a different variety of food and they make their own ginger beer. I ordered one and it wasn’t too bad. I went with my husband and our baby. There was a high chair for him to sit in so that was great! We ordered the meatball and the Moules-Frites. My husband also had a beer. We seat outside which was really nice since the sun was shining! I can’t believe it took us so long to eat here. We will definitely come back and try something else from the menu. ~ Carolina

Sehr netter Besitzer, spricht deutsch. Kinder und Hunde freundlich. Essen war sehr lecker. Super Lage zum Strand, da direkt an der Straße fahren hin und wieder Busse vorbei. Hat uns nicht gestört. ~ Sv B

Absolute Empfehlung! Leckerer, hausgemachter Kuchen mit einer großen Auswahl. Verschiedene gekühlte Getränke und Kaffeespezialitäten. Und auch Wasser für den Hund wir gerne gereicht. Wir sind begeistert! ~ M. M

Living in the neighbourhood this place has become one of my favourite places to visit. It has a beach vibe to it and at the same time a homely atmosphere. Food is fantastic, lots of cakes and desserts for the sweet tooth, and nice cold beer on tap. Beaides that, the staff and owners are a delight. Visiting malmo, please make sure to have a stop here too. ~ Ulrich H

Ein absolut traumhaftes Strandcafé! Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das gesamte Team ist unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und aufmerksam – so eine nette Bedienung erlebt man wirklich selten. Man wird mit einem Lächeln empfangen und fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Essen und Getränke waren hervorragend, alles frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und einfach lecker. Die entspannte Atmosphäre direkt am Strand macht den Besuch perfekt.
